Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist

  • Proficiency in counseling methods and implementing interventions for a diverse student population

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student strengths and areas of need
  • Design and implement evidence-based interventions and behavior management plans
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans
  • Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention support to students as needed
  • Consult with teachers and staff regarding classroom strategies and student supports
  • Engage with families to communicate findings, recommend interventions, and encourage student success
