A contract position is available for a School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services in both elementary and high school settings in Lexington, KY. This role focuses on supporting students educational and emotional development through assessments, interventions, and collaborations with educators and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students at elementary and high school levels.
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student learning and well-being.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide crisis intervention and consultation as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in both elementary and high school environments.
- Strong understanding of educational psychology, assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
