Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments, behavioral intervention planning, and counseling preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- Commitment to culturally responsive practice and inclusive education.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students referred through the special education process.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education and intervention plans.
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services.
- Serve as a resource and consultant for teachers, staff, and families regarding student development, learning strategies, and behavioral supports.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, helping to create positive and inclusive educational experiences.
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation, contributing to the overall success of the school community.
