Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related field
  • Valid and current state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Demonstrated experience working in a school system preferred
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and team collaboration capabilities
  • Ability to provide evidence-based interventions and support for diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students referred for intervention or evaluation
  • Develop, interpret, and present assessment results for individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students educational plans
  • Deliver counseling services and therapeutic support to students as needed
  • Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) processes and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Provide crisis intervention and consultation for urgent student needs
  • Promote positive behavioral supports and social-emotional learning initiatives campus-wide
  • Maintain detailed student records and adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal standards
