Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Valid and current state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience working in a school system preferred
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication, consultation, and team collaboration capabilities
- Ability to provide evidence-based interventions and support for diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students referred for intervention or evaluation
- Develop, interpret, and present assessment results for individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students educational plans
- Deliver counseling services and therapeutic support to students as needed
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) processes and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide crisis intervention and consultation for urgent student needs
- Promote positive behavioral supports and social-emotional learning initiatives campus-wide
- Maintain detailed student records and adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal standards
