Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by bringing your expertise in school psychology to an engaging K-8 environment. This contract opportunity is based onsite and offers the chance to support both elementary and middle school students throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Kansas School Psychologist license (PSYCH KS)
- Previous experience providing psychological services in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, and educational teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Role Highlights:
- Serve a diverse caseload of kindergarten through 8th grade students
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, interpret assessment data, and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to design and implement effective interventions
- Support Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support as needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment
