Job Description

Make an immediate impact supporting students in elementary grades as a School Psychologist on a contract basis. This role places you at the heart of a dedicated building team, ensuring well-being and academic success for children from Kindergarten through 5th grade. With a rewarding full-time schedule and a collaborative work environment, you'll be a vital resource for both staff and students.

In this position, youll engage in a broad range of responsibilities, from daily problem-solving to crisis intervention, and will play an active role in student evaluation and service delivery processes. Your expertise will directly contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification and state licensure as required
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children (Kindergarten to Grade 5)
  • Knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and appropriate evaluation tools
  • Effective communication skills and the capacity to collaborate with teachers, parents, and building teams
  • Flexibility, compassion, and a solution-focused approach to student support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform evaluations and participate in the IEP process for students in need
  • Actively contribute to the Student Intervention Team and Building Crisis Team
  • Implement and assist with problem-solving processes to address student needs
  • Provide expertise and support for social, emotional, and behavioral development
  • Facilitate and monitor student services in collaboration with educators and administrators
