With your expertise, you'll play a key role in fostering positive academic, behavioral, and social outcomes for diverse learners. This full-time, onsite position runs from August 20, 2026, to May 20, 2027, with a consistent 37.5-hour work week. While your primary focus will be in Emporia, you'll occasionally visit nearby districts, all conveniently located within a 20-minute drive.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Kansas School Psychologist license is required
• Proven experience partnering with teachers, staff, and families to support student well-being
• Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention planning skills
• Familiarity with educational and behavioral strategies in K-12 settings
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to travel locally between assigned schools as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and share findings with IEP teams
• Collaborate with educators and parents to develop interventions tailored to student needs
• Provide individual and group counseling to promote social-emotional growth
• Contribute to the creation and monitoring of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Consult with staff on strategies for classroom management, behavioral supports, and crisis interventions
