Join a K-12 public school district in Lebanon, OR, serving the wider area including Salem and Corvallis, as a dedicated School Psychologist. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, offering 37.5 hours per week in a dynamic educational environment. The role primarily focuses on conducting evaluations without carrying a caseload, allowing you to specialize in assessment and analysis for students across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for K-12 students within the district
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to interpret assessment results and provide recommendations
- Support special education eligibility determinations with thorough, timely reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state regulations and best practices in school psychology
Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon School Psychologist License required
- Experience with psychological evaluations in K-12 settings preferred
- Strong skills in assessment tools, data interpretation, and report writing
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with diverse school staff and families
