Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential psychological support in an engaging educational environment. This contract opportunity requires a dedicated professional to serve students from Kindergarten through 8th grade, working onsite with a collaborative team. The assignment begins July 30th and runs through June 2, offering a full schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Candidates for this role will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing intervention strategies, and providing comprehensive support to students and staff. You'll have the opportunity to use your expertise to help young learners succeed both academically and emotionally.

What We're Looking For:

• Current and active Kansas School Psychologist license (PSYCH KS)
• Experience working with elementary and middle school students is preferred
• Ability to work onsite and adapt to the needs of a diverse student caseload
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with assessment tools and report writing for IEPs and student evaluations

Responsibilities:

• Administer psychological assessments and interpret results to guide student goals
• Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to recommend strategies for student success
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education plans
• Support students through counseling, crisis intervention, and skill-building sessions
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold ethical standards in all aspects of practice
