Make a positive impact supporting students from kindergarten through 5th grade in a vibrant elementary setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to play a vital role in student growth and well-being as a school psychologist. Youll collaborate closely with education teams and contribute your expertise to help shape a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day school psychologist activities, serving as an essential member of both the problem-solving and Student Intervention teams. Your input will be crucial in the Building Crisis Team, providing key support when students face challenges. Additionally, your assessment skills will be put to use conducting IEP evaluations, developing services, and ensuring students receive appropriate interventions.
Key Qualifications/Experience:
- Licensed or credentialed as a school psychologist (or eligibility for state credential)
- Experience with K-5 age groups strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP evaluation processes and special education services
- Strong skills in student observation, assessment, and data-driven recommendations
- Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage crisis intervention and participate in school-wide support initiatives
- Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes and resilient school communities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct IEP evaluations and develop individualized recommendations
- Participate in Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams
- Collaborate in multi-tiered support systems and problem-solving meetings
- Offer consultative support to teachers, staff, and families
- Deliver direct and indirect interventions for student learning and behavior
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state/federal guidelines
This on-site position is full-time, running from late July to early June, 37.5 hours each week. Youll have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team and make a daily difference in the lives of young learners.
