A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist located in Leander, TX. This role offers the chance to contribute to a supportive school environment by addressing the diverse psychological and educational needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students to identify learning and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student mental health and academic success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student well-being.
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with relevant educational and psychological standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience administering and interpreting psychological assessments.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations (IDEA, ADA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
