Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Hold an active or eligible School Psychologist license or certification
  • Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric psychological services preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, Response to Intervention (RTI), and state/federal special education guidelines
  • Excellent assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations
  • Interpret assessment results and develop recommendations for interventions
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide input on IEP goals and strategies
  • Deliver individual and group counseling to support students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to foster a positive learning environment
  • Support crisis intervention and prevention programs as needed
  • Maintain thorough and confidential case notes and documentation
