Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Masters or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field required
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Strong understanding of special education processes and IEP development
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Prior experience in a school environment is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver direct and indirect counseling services to support students mental health needs
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to design interventions and promote a positive school climate
• Communicate assessment findings and recommendations to students, families, and staff
• Provide crisis intervention and assist with behavior management planning as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and federal guidelines
