Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification in Georgia
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments, report writing, and presenting findings to teams
- Strong proficiency in counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify students needs
- Analyze data and provide insights for special education eligibility decisions
- Deliver direct and consultative services to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents/guardians on intervention plans and progress monitoring
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and problem-solving teams
- Provide crisis support and prevention programs as needed
- Maintain accurate, organized documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
