Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Masters or Specialist-level degree (or higher) in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid and current state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience working within K-12 educational settings is preferred
  • Expertise in administering psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
  • Strong skills in counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis response
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Adaptable, organized, and enthusiastic about fostering inclusive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group psychological assessments to inform educational planning
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop student support plans, including IEPs and 504s
  • Provide evidence-based counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
  • Deliver professional guidance and training to school staff on behavioral and learning supports
  • Monitor student progress and adapt interventions accordingly
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with all regulations and school policies
  • Act as an advocate for student well-being and positive school climate
