Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Psychology (required)
  • Current licensure as a School Psychologist in Michigan
  • Experience in educational settings serving elementary, middle, and/or high school students
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret psychological data
  • Commitment to culturally responsive practices and confidentiality

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct psychological services to students, including counseling and crisis intervention
  • Conduct psycho-educational assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations for special education
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to design interventions and support plans
  • Contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
  • Promote a safe, inclusive school climate and address barriers to learning
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
  • Deliver professional development and consult on strategies for diverse learners
