Job Description

An opportunity is available for a dedicated school psychologist to support K-12 students in a comprehensive educational setting located in Chester, PA. This full-time, contract position offers a caseload focused on evaluations and assessments within an urban school district. The position requires onsite work, prioritizing hands-on engagement with students and staff to enhance educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for K-12 students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to develop intervention plans.
  • Manage a K-12 caseload with attention to individual student needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation adhering to district policies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.

Qualifications:

  • Active school psychologist license or certification in Pennsylvania.
  • Previous school-based experience, preferably within an urban setting.
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload (37.5 hours per week).
  • Willingness to obtain required Pennsylvania clearances.
  • Comfortable working onsite within the specified district.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families.
