Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and valid school psychologist license for the state is required
- Background in school-based settings is preferred
- Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels a strong advantage
- Proficient with assessments, intervention planning, and delivering counseling services
- Strong communication, consultation, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to recommend strategies and interventions
- Provide counseling support for students to address academic, social, or behavioral needs
- Assist with development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Support positive behavior intervention initiatives
- Serve as a key member of the student support and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district, state, and federal compliance standards
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities
