Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active and valid school psychologist license for the state is required
  • Background in school-based settings is preferred
  • Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels a strong advantage
  • Proficient with assessments, intervention planning, and delivering counseling services
  • Strong communication, consultation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to recommend strategies and interventions
  • Provide counseling support for students to address academic, social, or behavioral needs
  • Assist with development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
  • Support positive behavior intervention initiatives
  • Serve as a key member of the student support and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district, state, and federal compliance standards
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities
