Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
  • Current and valid New Mexico school psychologist license
  • Experience working within elementary, middle, or high school settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to administer assessments, interpret data, and develop appropriate interventions
  • Genuine commitment to student advocacy and inclusive education

Responsibilities:

  • Perform academic, behavioral, and emotional assessments for students referred by teachers, parents, or administrators
  • Provide direct counseling services and interventions for individuals and groups
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and other student support documents
  • Consult with teachers, families, and staff regarding student learning and behavioral challenges
  • Promote mental health awareness and social-emotional learning initiatives within the school community
  • Contribute to crisis response and de-escalation efforts as needed
