Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field required
- Valid New Mexico School Psychologist license
- Experience supporting students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Proficiency in developing and implementing intervention plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads across various grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychoeducational assessments to evaluate student needs
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, 504, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide individual and group counseling to foster student well-being and resilience
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to develop comprehensive support strategies
- Offer crisis intervention and facilitate behavioral support plans when necessary
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Promote inclusive practices and advocate for equitable access to educational resources
