Job Description

This full-time opportunity allows you to apply your expertise in school-based psychological services, collaborating with educators, families, and a multidisciplinary support team to nurture a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and current School Psychologist license in Michigan
  • Demonstrated experience with assessment, intervention, and consultation in a K-12 school setting
  • Strong knowledge of developmental, behavioral, and educational best practices
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, students, and parents
  • Familiarity with conducting evaluations and writing IEPs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret data for eligibility and intervention planning
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students' emotional and behavioral health
  • Serve as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, participating in IEP and eligibility meetings
  • Consult with staff and parents to develop and implement targeted interventions and support plans
  • Contribute to crisis intervention, prevention, and response initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
  • Support a positive school climate through leadership in mental health awareness and programming
