Make an impact supporting students' well-being and success as a contract School Psychologist in Michigan for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time opportunity allows you to apply your expertise in school-based psychological services, collaborating with educators, families, and a multidisciplinary support team to nurture a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current School Psychologist license in Michigan
- Demonstrated experience with assessment, intervention, and consultation in a K-12 school setting
- Strong knowledge of developmental, behavioral, and educational best practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, students, and parents
- Familiarity with conducting evaluations and writing IEPs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret data for eligibility and intervention planning
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students' emotional and behavioral health
- Serve as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, participating in IEP and eligibility meetings
- Consult with staff and parents to develop and implement targeted interventions and support plans
- Contribute to crisis intervention, prevention, and response initiatives
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Support a positive school climate through leadership in mental health awareness and programming
