This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional passionate about working as a School Psychologist. You will use your expertise to promote students well-being and collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state license or certification as a School Psychologist
- Recent experience in a K-12 or educational environment preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of current laws and best practices in special education and student support services
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students referred for evaluation
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral interventions as needed
- Develop and monitor individualized education and behavioral plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with staff and families on intervention strategies
- Support teachers with classroom management and strategies for diverse learners
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and agency policies
