Key Qualifications:

• Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid state license or certification as a School Psychologist
• Recent experience in a K-12 or educational environment preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of current laws and best practices in special education and student support services

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students referred for evaluation
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral interventions as needed
• Develop and monitor individualized education and behavioral plans
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with staff and families on intervention strategies
• Support teachers with classroom management and strategies for diverse learners
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and agency policies
