A contract position is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support students in a school setting. This role is based in Lake Dallas, TX, and offers the opportunity to positively impact student growth and well-being through psychological services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess student needs
- Provide individual and group counseling to support emotional and behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid Texas school psychologist certification or eligibility
- Experience administering and interpreting a variety of psychological assessments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse student populations
- Ability to manage caseload and prioritize responsibilities in a school environment
