Job Description

This opportunity is for a licensed School Psychologist to support an early childhood school in Lacey, WA. The contract position spans from ASAP through June 5, 2026, with an onsite schedule of 37.5 hours per week, typically 7.5 hours per day. The role is integral to the Special Education Team, focusing on conducting assessments, evaluations, and initial evaluations for students, all while collaborating closely with the director and educational staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students within the early childhood setting.
  • Conduct initial evaluations with the support of the Special Education Team and director.
  • Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop individualized education plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations and student progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of assessment procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state license in the appropriate discipline required.
  • Special Education Certification in the state of Washington.
  • Experience working with early childhood populations preferred.
  • Strong understanding of assessment tools, evaluation protocols, and special education regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Location: Lacey, WA early childhood school setting
Contract Duration: From ASAP to June 5, 2026
Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week, scheduled 7.5 hours daily
Onsite Requirement: Must work onsite at the school location
