Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology (or related field required for certification)
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working within an elementary school environment preferred
- Skill in conducting educational and behavioral assessments, and implementing evidence-based interventions
- Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills
- Commitment to supporting students emotional and academic growth
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological and educational evaluations for referred students within elementary caseloads
- Deliver direct and indirect services to support the social, emotional, and behavioral health of students
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to develop appropriate interventions and strategies
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and help create effective plans
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school climate
