Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid School Psychologist certification or licensure.
- Previous experience in school-based psychological services, preferably at the elementary level.
- Proficient in psychoeducational assessment, behavioral support, and consultation with educators and families.
- Ability to develop and interpret Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies.
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support as necessary.
- Lead or participate in IEP meetings, delivering clear and actionable recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with federal, state, and district regulations.
- Offer professional guidance to staff on best practices in academic and behavioral intervention.
