Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings
- Familiarity with administering and interpreting psychological and academic assessments
- Strong ability to develop and implement evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication skills for consulting with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate, adaptable, and culturally sensitive approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and functional behavior assessments
- Collaborate in the development and review of IEPs and 504 plans
- Provide consultation and support to teachers regarding classroom strategies
- Deliver direct and indirect services to students, such as counseling and skill-building sessions
- Contribute to crisis intervention, threat assessments, and prevention programs
- Support data-driven decisions related to student learning and behavior
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
Experience:
- Prior work in school settings or with diverse student populations is strongly preferred.
