Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential/licensure as required by the state
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience in psychoeducational assessment and intervention
- Understanding of IEP development and special education law
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
- Compassionate, ethical, and culturally responsive approach
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for students referred for services
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers regarding classroom interventions and behavioral strategies
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support for students facing academic, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and staff development workshops
- Maintain accurate records and uphold strict confidentiality standards
