Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential or certification (state requirements apply)
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, including cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional components
  • In-depth understanding of special education laws, IEPs, and 504 Plans
  • Ability to provide both individual and group counseling
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, parents, and school staff
  • Problem-solving expertise and a compassionate approach

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify student learning and behavioral needs
  • Develop and contribute to IEPs and intervention strategies in collaboration with staff and families
  • Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services
  • Interpret test results and compile detailed reports
  • Provide guidance to teachers and families on instructional techniques and behavioral interventions
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and professional development as required
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with school and district policies
