Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and valid Louisiana DOE Certification required
• Experience working as a School Psychologist in K-12 settings is preferred
• Strong understanding of assessment, intervention, and consultation services
• Ability to adapt to evolving caseloads and school assignments
• Proficiency in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Must successfully pass district-requirement drug screening and fingerprinting

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to inform instruction and intervention
• Consult with teaching staff, families, and administrators on student progress and needs
• Develop individualized education and behavior support plans
• Support crisis intervention and prevention initiatives
• Maintain clear and accurate records according to regulatory guidelines
• Engage actively across assigned schools as determined by the district
