Job Description
A full-time School Psychologist position is available at an established educational institution in Kenner, LA. This onsite role offers the opportunity to provide specialized psychological services with a contract-to-hire arrangement, supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments and interpret results to inform individual education plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to design interventions tailored to student needs
- Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as necessary
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to promote positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Tennessee School Psychologist License required
- Experience in school-based psychological services preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload with professionalism and empathy
