Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments, report writing, and developing intervention plans
- Skilled in counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation with parents and educators
- Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and special education procedures
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Dedication to facilitating positive student outcomes in diverse school communities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students learning, behavior, and social-emotional needs
- Design and implement effective intervention strategies tailored to individual student profiles
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support students educational goals
- Provide individual and group counseling for students facing emotional or behavioral challenges
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of IEPs and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Deliver crisis management and intervention services as needed
