Key Qualifications:

• Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field required
• Valid state certification/license as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong assessment, consultation, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communicator skilled at building rapport with students, staff, and parents
• Familiarity with special education regulations and IEP process

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs and support eligibility decisions
• Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students individually and in groups
• Attend and participate in meetings, including IEP, eligibility, and intervention team discussions
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that support student learning and well-being
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Offer crisis intervention as needed and support positive behavioral interventions
