Job Description
A full-time School Psychologist position is available supporting K-12 students within an itinerant role across multiple campuses in the Fort Worth, Texas area. The assignment runs from January 5, 2026, through May 21, 2026, providing essential psychological services to a diverse student population with a focus on elementary and some middle schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments, including those related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairments (OHI) such as ADHD.
- Provide direct psychological services, including Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and the development of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students educational and social-emotional needs.
- Manage a caseload across five schools, delivering services in accordance with best practices and regulatory guidelines.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Must hold a License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations, ideally within special education frameworks.
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations and providing evidence-based interventions.
- Ability to manage responsibilities across multiple school sites effectively.
Location: This position requires on-site presence within the Fort Worth Independent School District, serving multiple campuses.
