Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with assessments, counseling, and developing student intervention plans
  • Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Support teachers and staff with classroom interventions and strategies
  • Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and other student support processes
  • Maintain accurate and timely student records and documentation
  • Serve as an advocate for students well-being and facilitate communication between home and school
