Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for K-12 students
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal special education regulations
- Excellent communication, consultation, and documentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological and educational assessments for students
- Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement evidence-based interventions
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, contributing professional insights
- Assist in the development of positive behavior support plans
- Offer crisis intervention and consult on prevention strategies within the school community
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards
