Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for school psychology certification
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments, behavioral interventions, and crisis management
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, educators, and families
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis for intervention planning
- Familiarity with special education services and IEP processes highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group assessments to identify students academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop appropriate intervention strategies and work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
- Support classroom teachers and school staff in implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions
- Participate in the development, review, and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Offer crisis intervention and counseling services when necessary
- Facilitate communication and consultation with families, guardians, and external professionals
- Contribute to the creation of a positive, inclusive, and supportive school climate
