Desired Experience & Skills:

  • Current and valid School Psychologist certification (state requirements must be met)
  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience in psychoeducational assessments and interpreting data for individualized plans
  • Strong ability to consult and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with development and implementation of IEPs, 504s, and behavior intervention plans
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, ethical guidelines, and best practices in school psychology
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • Empathy and cultural sensitivity when working with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify learning, behavioral, or emotional needs
  • Deliver counseling and mental health support to students individually and in groups
  • Collaborate with educators and families to develop and monitor intervention strategies
  • Assist in crisis prevention and response as needed within the school community
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to professional development sessions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports
