Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
  • Valid certification or license to practice as a School Psychologist in the state of Kansas (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Proven ability to conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
  • Experience with IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, consultation, and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Support individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Serve as a member of multidisciplinary teams, contributing expertise to student support, crisis intervention, and educational planning
  • Provide professional development and guidance to staff regarding student learning and behavior concerns
