Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain in Alaska)
• Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
• Prior experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools, data analysis, and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess students cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning
• Provide consultation to teachers and staff regarding student learning and behavioral challenges
• Collaborate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing expertise to develop educational plans
• Participate in crisis intervention, prevention programs, and promote positive behavioral supports
• Deliver direct counseling and skill-building services to students as needed
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
