Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois School Psychologist License
• Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students across diverse backgrounds
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, parents, and school staff
• Ability to conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop intervention strategies
• Commitment to promoting positive student outcomes and supporting inclusive practices

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct psychological services to students, including assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address learning and behavioral needs
• Conduct individualized evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services and create appropriate plans
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and provide expert input on student needs
• Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and monitor progress
• Support social-emotional learning and foster positive school climates
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district policies
