Desired Qualifications:
- Credentials to practice as a School Psychologist in Illinois
- Experience supporting high school students in educational settings
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
- Excellent communication with students, staff, and families
- Ability to travel locally between school sites as required
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results for educational planning
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide counseling, intervention, and crisis support to students
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to address academic and behavioral challenges
- Complete required documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in professional development to stay current in best practices
