A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support student well-being and academic success in a school setting located in Jersey City, NJ. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs related to learning, behavior, and emotional health.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans tailored to students unique profiles.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote effective strategies for student support.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and adjustment of intervention plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational regulations and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field.
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and delivering intervention plans.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state special education regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse student populations and school personnel.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
