Job Description

A school is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support student development and well-being in Jersey City, NJ. This contract position offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in educational psychology within a dynamic school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention for students

  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute evaluations

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist

  • Strong knowledge of child development, learning disabilities, and mental health issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and collaboration
  • Ability to manage a caseload and handle multiple priorities effectively
  • Familiarity with special education law and IEP processes preferred
