A full-time School Psychologist position is available for a maternity leave assignment from November 2025 to April 2026. This contracted role requires a dedicated professional to support students within a school setting located in Jersey City, NJ. The position offers 37.5 hours per week, providing a consistent schedule ideal for those seeking a meaningful, time-limited engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student learning and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and interventions to support student mental health and academic success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure integrated support for students.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all applicable policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure.
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
