Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-27 school year as a dedicated School Psychologist supporting students in a dynamic, K-12 educational environment. This full-time, onsite position offers a consistent 40-hour workweek with school day schedules likely running from 7:00-3:00 or 8:30-4:30, depending on specific assignment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and school staff.

Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Nebraska school psychologist license
  • Extensive knowledge in the identification and support of students with educational disabilities
  • Previous experience working in K-12 settings is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for teaming with educators, families, and staff
  • Commitment to ethical guidelines and confidentiality in school psychology practice

Role Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key member of the schools Multidisciplinary and Intervention Teams, and participate in Safety, Building, or District Crisis Teams as needed
  • Conduct assessments to help identify students requiring special education services
  • Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention and academic intervention plans
  • Provide school-based counseling for students in crisis situations
  • Offer professional guidance and act as a crucial resource for faculty, staff, students, and parents
  • Take an active part in creating a safe, supportive, and effective learning environment for all students
