Qualifications and Experience:
- Current School Psychologist licensure or eligibility in Michigan
- Proven experience supporting K-12 student populations
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, individualized education programs (IEPs), and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to ethical and evidence-based practice
- Ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop effective interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings to design and tailor student plans
- Offer crisis intervention and consult with staff on behavioral or learning needs
- Assist in the implementation of RTI (Response to Intervention) models and strategies
- Provide counseling, guidance, and support to students as needed
