Job Description

Step into a valuable role supporting the academic and emotional well-being of students as a school psychologist. In this contract position, you'll provide expert psychological services to multiple campuses, playing a critical part in a multidisciplinary team and positively impacting the school community. Working full-time onsite, youll travel between three to four campuses, collaborating closely with educators, administrators, and families to maximize student success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Texas School Psychologist license required
  • Demonstrated, recent experience in a school-based setting
  • Proficiency with Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs) and case management
  • Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to handle concurrent evaluations and meet deadlines
  • Experience communicating findings at ARD meetings
  • Reliable transportation for daily travel between assigned campuses
  • Commitment to onsite presence across designated locations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the case manager for Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs), including obtaining informed parental consent
  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
  • Participate in Student Support Team (SST) meetings and Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to review evaluation outcomes
  • Maintain thorough documentation aligned with district and state requirements
  • Collaborate with special education teams, faculty, and families to develop and support appropriate interventions
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and timelines
