Step into a meaningful contract role supporting students and school communities as an onsite School Psychologist in Plano, TX. This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of elementary and high school students across 34 campuses. The assignment runs from ASAP through May 21, 2027, and requires onsite presence with travel between campuses (no remote option). The role is full-time, offering 40 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas School Psychologist License required
- Demonstrated, recent experience within school settings essential
- Proven ability to conduct Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities to handle several evaluations at once
- Reliable transportation for daily travel between campuses
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, administrators, teachers, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Attend and contribute to Student Support Team (SST) meetings
- Obtain informed consent for Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
- Manage Full Individual Evaluation (FIE) caseloads and act as case manager
- Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to present findings
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation, ensuring compliance with state and district guidelines
- Collaborate closely with special education teams, campus administrators, and families to support student needs
