Job Description

A school district in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking experienced professionals licensed as Specialists in School Psychology (LSSP) or holding an Associate School Psychologist Credential. This full-time, itinerant contract position (January 5, 2026 May 21, 2026) involves working across five schools with a primary focus on elementary students and some middle school. The role requires providing evaluations and services related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairments (OHI), including ADHD assessments, direct interventions, Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
  • Deliver direct psychological services to students.
  • Develop and implement FBAs and BIPs.
  • Collaborate with school staff to support students with AU, ED, and OHI.
  • Manage caseload across multiple campuses within the district.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in school settings.
  • Ability to manage an itinerant caseload effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of assessments and interventions for AU, ED, OHI, and ADHD.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Details:

  • Location: Fort Worth, TX (onsite, itinerant between five schools)
  • Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week (7 hours per day)
  • Position Type: Contract for the remainder of the school year
  • Start Date: January 5, 2026
  • End Date: May 21, 2026
