Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in students lives by providing essential psychological services in a supportive school setting. An experienced School Psychologist is needed for a full-time, onsite contract position. Youll work academic-year hours, supporting learners and collaborating with educational teams near Irmo, SC.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Current licensure/certification as a School Psychologist (state(s) applicable)
- Previous experience in K-12 schools preferred
- Familiarity with psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention planning
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite and support staff, parents, and students
Expectations and key responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop and monitor intervention plans tailored to individual students
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
- Serve as a resource for educators and families to provide guidance around best practices
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in accordance with district and state regulations
- Uphold ethical and legal standards while advocating for students well-being
This full-time role (37.5 hours/week) follows the school year calendar, with assignment dates from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027. Youll have the opportunity to work closely with school staff and make a valuable contribution to student achievement and well-being. Specific caseload details will be provided.
