A licensed School Psychologist is sought for a contract position serving grades K-12 in a school setting located in Ipswich, South Dakota. This role is ideal for candidates holding a Masters degree or higher who demonstrate flexibility with caseload management and a collaborative approach to student support. Consideration will also be given to interns seeking practical experience under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students in grades K-12.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Support student academic, social, and emotional development through data-driven recommendations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state regulations and school policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensure as a School Psychologist in South Dakota is mandatory.
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or related field.
- Flexibility in managing varying caseload sizes to meet student needs.
- Strong collaboration skills with a commitment to working closely with educational teams.
- Experience working in South Dakota schools is advantageous but not required.
- Interns actively pursuing licensure will also be considered.
