Job Description
Make a difference in education as a contract school psychologist supporting students in grades K-12. Qualifications:
- South Dakota licensure as a school psychologist required
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience in South Dakota schools is a plus
- Will consider both fully credentialed psychologists and qualified interns
- Comfortable with a flexible caseload and working across multiple grade levels (K-12)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administration, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students across K-12
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in problem-solving teams to support student learning and behavioral needs
- Provide counseling, direct support, and crisis intervention as necessary
- Consult with staff and families to offer guidance on supporting student mental health
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide interventions and best practices
- Maintain detailed and confidential records in accordance with all ethical and legal standards
