Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid and current state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in educational settings
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Excellent communication abilities for teamwork with teachers, families, and administrative staff
- Proficiency in developing individualized education plans and providing recommendations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for IEP eligibility
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop academic and behavioral intervention plans
- Provide individual and group counseling to address a variety of student concerns
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in prevention, crisis intervention, and mental health awareness initiatives within the school community
