Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure for the state
  • Masters or specialist-level degree in school psychology or related field
  • Experience with psychoeducational assessments, behavioral interventions, and individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Skill in counseling and supporting students, parents, and staff
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility in a dynamic school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students learning, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services as needed
  • Assist in the promotion of positive school climates and mental wellness initiatives
  • Interpret assessment data and communicate results with families and school personnel
  • Facilitate and participate in student support or intervention meetings
  • Contribute to professional development efforts for educators and staff
