Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Valid state license or certification as required for School Psychologists
• Previous experience in a K12 educational setting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of current assessment tools, intervention frameworks, and response-to-intervention (RTI) models
• Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments, developing IEPs, and providing crisis intervention
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of multicultural, trauma-informed, and inclusive practices
• Commitment to ethical standards and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess student cognitive, behavioral, and socio-emotional functioning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
• Provide direct counseling services, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed
• Participate in student support meetings and advocate for student needs
• Deliver training and resources to staff and families on topics such as mental health, academic support strategies, and positive behavior supports
• Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and district policies
