Job Description

Make an immediate impact in K12 education by supporting students learning journeys throughout the 20262027 school year. In this contract role, youll deliver dedicated psychological services and conduct special education evaluations for a diverse student populationfrom preschoolers to high school seniors. Your skills will guide teams and families in understanding and addressing unique student needs to foster a supportive and inclusive educational environment.

What were looking for:

  • Masters Degree or higher in School Psychology
  • Michigan Department of Education approval as a School Psychologist
  • Proven experience or strong knowledge of special education evaluation protocols
  • Comfort working on-site and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Adaptability to meet evolving student and program needs

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive special education evaluations in accordance with state and federal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations for individualized student plans
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and service providers to deliver targeted interventions
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of reports and documentation
  • Adjust caseload responsibilities as program needs shift during the school year
  • Provide consultation and support to school staff regarding student assessment outcomes
