Job Description

Make an impact supporting students across all grade levels as a School Psychologist in Idaho Springs, CO! This contract position is perfect for someone who values a four-day school week and the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse PreK-12 student population. The role begins as soon as possible, continues through the end of this school year, and extends into the upcoming school year (August 10 to June 4). Youll work directly with a manageable caseload of approximately 35 students, helping meet mental health and educational needs within a supportive environment.

What youll bring:

  • Valid Colorado School Psychologist license
  • CDE credential as a School Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor
  • Experience working with students PreK-12 preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing environments

How youll contribute:

  • Provide psychological assessments, counseling, and consultation services to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement interventions
  • Support Individualized Education Plan (IEP) teams and conduct evaluations
  • Promote positive mental health practices and foster a supportive learning environment
  • Deliver crisis intervention and preventive mental health programming as needed
  • Maintain thorough and compliant documentation
