Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a valid School Psychologist certification and state licensure
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI), multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), and special education services
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to administer, score, and interpret a variety of assessments
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform cognitive, behavioral, and academic assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators on intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Maintain detailed and confidential student records
- Support development and implementation of behavior management plans
- Serve as a resource on social-emotional learning and mental health issues
